After several years working in the luxury fashion industry I decided in 2009 to re-focus my energy and passion on developing fabulous eco-friendly clothing; great fitting, functional, high quality and well designed aesthetic garments, which look amazing and feel great against the skin.
My dual degrees in tailoring and design, and valuable experiences working in the design studio and ateliers of famous luxury houses, allow me to take an active part in creating flattering, functional and comfortable designs.
With 15 + years of experience designing women's wear for all product categories, I would be happy to contribute to your project during any part of collection development.
Working with the latest in fashion technology and sustainable textile developments, I am an innovative and creative design consultant specializing in sustainable fashion. My main objective today is to take part in the creation and development of beautiful sustainable design, and help my clients implement global sustainability strategies across the value chain.
As a consultant, I join my talents for creative and business strategy to participate in the design, production and marketing process from concept to commercialization. Experience working for leading international fashion brands has allowed me to develop an understanding of global merchandising strategies.
During my career I have had the pleasure of working with such talented designers as Phoebe Philo, Michael Kors, Ronald van der Kemp, Julian Neale, Ralph Rucci, Roberto Menichetti and Pascal Millet. Invaluable experiences, which have all helped shape me into the design professional I am today.
Sourcing the latest in sustainable textile developments, I have developed woven textiles, machine and hand knits, prints, embroideries and pleating embellishments to bring added value to my design projects.
My technical background, starting my fashion education with a degree in tailoring, and working as a patternmaker, draper, sample maker and tailor in an Haute Couture atelier, allow me to provide the technical knowledge to deliver impeccably finished products with beautiful detailing.
Partaking in showroom prep and sales for such brands as Chloé, Céline, Lanvin, as well as multi brand showrooms and a few young designers, have given me precious insight into the needs of international buyers.
